mLive reports that a Muskegon artist has transformed the blank wall of a former automotive repair facility at Sozo Companies into a bright mural:

The 120-foot mural painted by Dan Parker looks like a vintage postcard with florals, greenery and a lighthouse with the message “Greetings from Sozo, Muskegon.”

Sozo, a Michigan-based cannabis company, commissioned Parker to paint the mural at its Muskegon store, 580 W. Hackley Ave.

“We saw the building as a blank canvas and an opportunity to give back to the community we are proud to serve, create beauty and support local arts and local entrepreneurs,” said a statement from Aaron Rasty, Sozo founder and CEO.

Rasty shares that the company intends to commission a community mural at their Cheboygan location as well. Read more at mLive & kudos to cannabis companies making Michigan more beautiful!
