Canna Jam Comedy & Music Festival coming to Ypsi
Next Saturday October 9th, Riverside Park in Ypsilanti will host Canna Jam: Michigan’s Cannabis Comedy and Music Festival. Producer Creative Rec Events is dedicated to “normalizing cannabis one event at a time” and this event from noon – 9 PM definitely fills the bill with a great lineup of comedians & musicians including:
- Echoes of Pink Floyd, a tribute band with laser light show
- Comedian Mike Young “Who the F is Mike Young?”
- Detroit Red Wings legend Darren McCarty & the Comedy Slapstick Tour
- Randy Kaplan with afternoon Bob Dylan Acoustic Set
- Razor Ray Reyes
- DJ Joey Pistols
- T Money Green
Jamie Lowell is one of the organizers and explains, “Festivals are of course very difficult & expensive to put on, but we’re doing everything we can to keep it affordable. We’ve put together a really cool presentation with high level entertainment at a great price. Best of all, you can legally buy & use cannabis while enjoying the show.”
In addition to the music and a variety of food offerings, a highlight will be premium licensed cannabis sales of flower, edibles & other products from OZ Cannabis, The Botanical Co, Sticky Ypsi, and Pure Lapeer.
Tickets can be purchased on Eventbrite & a portion of proceeds will be donated to the John Sinclair Foundation and the Redemption Foundation!
