Hoxeyville Music Festival adding cannabis sales & consumption in 2022

The annual Hoxeyville Music Festival (August 19-21) has partnered with cannabis outfitter Dunegrass Co. to produce a first-of-its-kind cannabis retail and consumption event for the long-running festival’s 20th anniversary this August. Dunegrass will provide on-site sales for cannabis products and has partnered with marijuana event organizer & cultivator Tom Beller of Real Leaf Solutions in Kalkaska to create a cannabis on-site consumption experience that elevates the music festival to a whole new level.

The applicant team of Hoxeyville Productions, Dunegrass Co. and Real Leaf Solution’s Beller, obtained approval from South Branch Township to operate the cannabis portion of the event at the Township’s recent Board Meeting on 4-20. Hoxeyville Enterprises has further solidified this partnership by naming Dunegrass Co. its Founding Cannabis Sponsor for the festival for 2022 and 2023.

Jake Robinson of Hoxeyville Productions says, “We are very excited to provide this option for our attendees, and look forward to growing both this experience within the event as well as our partnership with Dunegrass.”

Eric Piedmonte, Chief Operations Officer at Dunegrass adds, “Dunegrass is beyond excited to work on the first music festival turned cannabis event in the state. Until now all the on-site cannabis events have been cannabis first, entertainment second. We are flipping the model on its head by partnering with a long running festival like Hoxey adding to it.”
